Meet Your Head Trainer
I'm Erin, the Owner and Head Trainer at Punk Paws! I’m a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) & Trick Dog (TKN) Evaluator, and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).
Since founding Punk Paws in 2020, I’ve been dedicated to helping dogs and their people thrive together. I share my space with nine wonderful dogs, as well as cats, goats, chickens, snakes, spiders, and fish plus a toddler! My passion for working with animals was sparked young, when I began rehabilitating feral kittens for a local rescue at just 6 years old. I’ve always valued patience and dedication when working with our pets. I believe in building strong canine-human relationships based on mutual respect and trust. I also think that we should be having fun while we’re at it!

Finley is now almost 5 years old. When we brought him home, we were thrilled except for the fact that he was mouthing everything & everyone, plus jumping up on people. One of our friends recommended Erin. We instantly connected with her warm personality & Finley adored her.
She taught us how to behave & train, as well as Finley, which is so important. She would bring him to stores to get used to people, set expectations on greetings, etc. He needed to learn manners. Erin has an amazing & loving rapport with the animals she trains. She also has infinite patience with the owners! We get into habits which she helps us see & sort out. Our two dogs, Chance & Finley, love her! They get very excited when she comes by. She gives them lots of "hugs & loves", plus the treats help also!
We put our dogs through the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. They passed easily with Erin's diligence & kind demeanor, also while stressing the importance of consistency. We highly recommend Erin's work & skill as a trainer & breeder.
